M. Laurex was manifested out of the desire and passion to create high quality, and distinct attire with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, fit, function, sustainability, and universal understanding that our audience and customers will love, be empowered by, learn from, be inspired by, and wear for decades to come. 

Hi, I’m :Mitch :Lawrence, the founder of M. Laurex, here’s my story. I’m a self-taught tailor, Life Path Seven, artist, and designer from Brooklyn, NY. that attended NYCCT for Fashion Marketing. I first started out in 2006, hand painting on tee shirts and fulfilling the needs of my friends and family, then graduated to creating my first pants pattern from scratch followed by my first four pairs of jeans, each completely made by hand with a needle and thread, and no sewing machine, hand embroidered, and hand painted. I participated in a fashion design contest in my first year at the college. I then went on to teaming up with event coordinators, and other designers, to present at various events such as charity shows to help raise awareness for Autism, Bronx Fashion Week 2014, and Maroon Sun Runway Show, to name a few. I’ve also been published in local and national magazines across the USA. It was in those beginning moments I felt the need, and determination to create high quality, distinct attire with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, fit, function, with the added benefit of universal understanding.

From these fundamental core values, M. Laurex was manifested. The focus of M. Laurex is to deepen your sensibility by increasing your awareness through design and style, and to create distinct, limited edition garments.
